If you want a bit of luxury that isn't too stuffy stay at the Pavilon De Gouffern. This is a lovely chateau hotel sitting in the Foret de Petite Gouffern. The forest is enormous and beware if you take a "short stroll" you may be lost for hours, as we were!. Delicious food, although we thought they should change the menu more often, especially if you aren't a lover of fish.
