lovely converted coach house, France

Just spent a fortnight in a lovely converted coach house gite in Bazoges-en Pareds in the Vendee. Linda (English)and Francois (French) were the epitomy of brilliant hosts, there was use of their swimming pool, a secure parking area, a beautiful and bountiful garden with a ripe fig tree outside the front door to pick straight to the table. Linda is a superb cook with mouthwatering dishes made entirely with local meats or her own home grown fruit and vegetables. We were made very welcome by the other guests and enjoyed a very pleasurable Saturday evening in their company. Spectacular countryside and lots to see and do. Francois told us a little of the history of the Vendee and we were able to explore and learn even more from the villages in the area too. Our best holiday in France (so far) and I cant recommend this accomodation highly enough and cant wait to return to the area next year.
