If you don't mind not being in the city centre and plan to do a bit of exploring anyway, the Brugotel in the suburbs of Bruges makes for a value-for-money stay. The hotel is a few minutes' drive from the Old Town. Alternatively, talk a long walk (about 30 minutes) there or rent a bike from the hotel - either way will give you a good workout. Located in Sint-Michiels, the hotel also gives you access to the Boudewijn Seapark. Brugotel's facilities, including all the interiors of its 48 rooms were last updated in 2007. Clean, comfortable and welcoming, you'll easily give good feedback after staying here. There's free parking and complimentary fresh fruit upon your arrival as well. Begin the morning on the right note with the hotel's excellent buffet breakfast, which can be had on the outdoor terrace on a fine day. Keep your evenings free for drinks at the bar while being lulled by soothing lounge music. Business meetings and seminars can also be held at the two multi-functional rooms that overlook the garden.
